Cindy McCreery, a talented screenwriter and producer, had the esteemed honor of being a Walt Disney/ABC Feature Writing Fellow in the year 2003.
Throughout her illustrious career, she has successfully sold a multitude of feature projects to prominent film studios, including New Line Cinema, Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, National Geographic Films, Warner Brothers, MGM, Branded Entertainment, Lionsgate, and Sony.
In addition to her work in feature films, Cindy has also made a significant impact in the world of television. She has sold numerous projects to esteemed networks and channels, such as SyFy Channel, Disney Channel, NBC, TNT, Televisa USA, Universal Television, and AMC's Shudder.
As a dedicated educator, Cindy has been teaching screenwriting and television writing since 2004 at prestigious institutions, including UCLA and UC Santa Barbara. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor and the Screenwriting Area Head at The University of Texas at Austin in The Department of Radio-TV-Film.
