Tien You Chui's journey in the entertainment industry began with a serendipitous encounter in 1999, when he was invited by acclaimed Director Fruit Chan to participate in a beverage commercial shoot during his Form 4 studies. This chance opportunity led to a significant turning point in his life, as he subsequently signed a management contract and made his acting debut in Fruit Chan's critically acclaimed film, Little Cheung, in a guest role.
After completing his secondary education in Hong Kong, Tien You Chui went on to further his studies in Japan for a period of six months. This experience not only broadened his cultural horizons but also provided him with a valuable opportunity to refine his skills and knowledge.
Following his stint in Japan, Tien You Chui made the bold decision to officially embark on his career in the entertainment industry.
