Charles Edward Couch, a renowned stuntman and actor, entered the world on September 1, 1922. As the older brother of fellow stuntman Bill Couch, he was destined for a life of thrilling performances. Prior to his career as a stuntman in the mid-1950s, Chuck honed his skills as a boxer and a seasoned circus performer, showcasing his exceptional abilities in the trapeze, tightrope walking, and a sway pole act.
Throughout his illustrious career, Couch doubled for several notable actors, including Stephen Boyd, Richard Long, Martin Landau, Guy Williams, Jack Lord, Terry-Thomas, and Ricardo Montalban. Moreover, Chuck's entrepreneurial spirit led him to invest in real estate, generating significant profits by renting out condos he purchased during his time in Hawaii as a stunt coordinator for the hit TV series Hawaii Five-O, which premiered in 1968.
Tragically, Chuck's life came to an end at the age of 68 on June 18, 1991.
