Christopher Reed Brown, a native New Yorker, hails from the city that never sleeps, and his academic credentials boast a degree from the esteemed NYU Tisch. Fresh from wrapping up his roles in Filmnation's "Down Low" and Skydance's "Greatest Beer Run Ever," Brown has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, racking up impressive credits in various TV shows, including Elementary, Mysteries of Laura, and Get Christie Love.
But Brown's talents extend far beyond the small screen. He has also made a mark on the stage, delivering a standout performance in Kenneth Branagh's Macbeth at the Park Avenue Armory, and starring in several world premieres at The National Black Theatre and The Kansas City Repertory Theatre. His most recent Off-Broadway credit includes a revival of Betty Smith's "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" at The New York City Center, titled "Becomes A Woman."
When he's not busy bringing characters to life, Brown is a multi-talented individual with a passion for writing. He serves as a press writer for Central Harlem's city councilwoman, and has also honed his skills as a screenwriter. Additionally, he moonlights as a private tutor, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring actors and writers.
