Christopher Maher embarked on his illustrious career in the vibrant city of New York, where he had the privilege of studying under the esteemed Sandy Meisner at the renowned Neighborhood Playhouse. His initial foray into the world of entertainment was marked by a successful stint on stage, followed by a recurring role on the popular soap opera, Another World.
As he relocated to Los Angeles in 1981, Maher's impressive repertoire continued to grow, with appearances in over 100 episodic television shows and 20 feature films. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to his craft, consistently working in both Los Angeles and New York, as well as on location.
In recent years, Maher has made Taos, New Mexico his full-time home, although he still spends part of the year in Toronto, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. As a Canadian citizen, he effortlessly navigates his dual identities, effortlessly balancing his professional and personal life.
