Christopher Noel Dorsey, also famously known by his stage name B.G., a stage name derived from "Baby Gangsta", is an American rapper hailing from the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on September 3, 1980, B.G.'s music career began to take shape in 1992 when he signed with the renowned Cash Money Records.
During his early days at Cash Money Records, B.G. formed a dynamic duo with Lil Wayne, who was then known as Baby D., and together they comprised the group The B.G.'z. This duo would later become an integral part of a larger collective, as they joined forces with fellow rappers Juvenile and Turk to form the iconic group, the Hot Boys, in 1997.
However, in 2001, B.G. decided to part ways with Cash Money Records and embarked on a new venture by establishing his own label, Chopper City Records.
