With a rich and diverse heritage, Christian Carroll's ancestry is a testament to the complexities of modern identity, boasting a unique blend of Chinese, Chinese-Malaysian, Native American (specifically, Mississippi Choctaw),and white descent.
Currently residing in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, Carroll has established himself as a talented and multifaceted creative force, working professionally as an editorial and fashion photographer, director, and cinematographer.
Throughout his illustrious career, Carroll has directed not one, but two feature films: "Out of Breath" and "Suicide or Lulu and Me in a World Made for Two", cementing his status as a respected and innovative voice in the world of independent cinema.
