Christi Berlane was born in Paterson, New Jersey, where she was the youngest of three siblings. Her father, Robby Berlane, was a custom motorcycle mechanic, and her mother, Jessie Berlane, was an electronics technician. The family relocated to Pennsylvania in 1990.
Christi began her acting career at the tender age of seven, and by the time she was twelve, her mother, Jessie, had started homeschooling her and her siblings, Joshua and Angel, to pursue their acting aspirations. Christi went on to perform with renowned groups such as City Lights Youth Theatre, City Kids Repertory Company, and TADA! in Manhattan.
In 2001, she made her feature film debut in "Wet, Hot American Summer." Christi graduated from high school at the age of sixteen and enrolled in East Stroudsburg University at seventeen, where she studied Theatre. During her time at ESU, she also had the opportunity to study myth and ritual in theatre at Oxford University's St. Edmunds College.
In 2009, Christi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Acting/Directing and a second concentration in Technical Theatre/Design. She then went on to work in various theaters in Manhattan and New Jersey, teaching acting to children and young adults for a company called Broadway Bound.
In 2012, Christi relocated to Florida and began studying at The Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre. Her current acting coach is the legendary Mr. Burt Reynolds. Since moving to Florida, Christi has continued to work in the film industry as an actor, as well as behind the camera as an Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, and Production Assistant.
