Chris was born in Queensland, Australia in 1975, and his name was inspired by Christopher Lee, the iconic actor who played Dracula, hinting at a lifelong fascination with the horror genre.
Growing up, Chris's interest in horror didn't manifest until his thirties, when he decided to take the leap and write and direct his own horror films.
Chris's debut feature, "Come and Get Me", released in 2010, marked his entry into the film industry as a writer, producer, and director.
However, it was his second feature, "Daddy's Little Girl", released in 2012, that gained significant traction in the independent film industry in Australia and internationally.
Chris's third feature, "Charlie's Farm", secured a global distribution deal with Shoreline Entertainment and premiered at over 25 film festivals worldwide, solidifying his reputation as a rising talent in the horror genre.
Chris's expertise in practical special effects sets him apart from many horror filmmakers, allowing him to add significant production value to his projects.
In 2014, Chris surprised fans by publishing his first novel, "ED", which has already sold over 3,000 hard copies in Australia alone, despite Chris having never read a book before.
Chris's fourth feature, "BOAR", released in 2018, tells the story of a massive monster pig that wreaks havoc on the Australian outback, and its success led to distribution deals worldwide, including a release in the United States.
