Chris Lomme's life began with a dramatic twist, almost literally, when she was nearly born on stage in 1938 during her mother's performance in the play "De Lustige Weduwe". Her parents, also actors, albeit amateurishly, with her father being part of the co-founding group "La Jeune garde catholique" and Antigone.
As Chris turned 20, she landed a role in "Schipper naast Mathilde" and shortly after, she made her television debut, subsequently signing a contract with the KVS Brussels. Throughout her tenure, she performed in numerous plays, including works by Shakespeare, Tjechov, Claus, and Becket.
In 1991, Chris left the KVS and embarked on a freelance acting career, with notable highlights including "Het Mens" by Benno Barnard, "Masterclass" as Maria Callas, and the current production "Het licht in de ogen" at 't Arsenaal.
Beyond her acting career, Chris is also passionate about poetry and literature, frequently reading from the works of Belgian poets and writers.
