Christopher William Cashman, a talented individual, was born in San Diego, California, to Patricia Rose Devine and Paul Vincent Cashman, both dedicated public school teachers with roots in Boston, Massachusetts.
At the tender age of 15, Chris began his filmmaking journey by producing short video parodies for the "Morning Announcements" at St. Augustine High School. This early start laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Chris then pursued his passion for filmmaking at Villanova University, where he earned a degree in Film, Theater, and Communication Arts. He kicked off his career in the film industry as an actor, working as Will Ferrell's Stunt Double and Photo Double in notable films such as "Anchorman," "Stranger Than Fiction," and "Kicking and Screaming." Although he doesn't consider himself a stuntman, Chris views this experience as an invaluable educational opportunity that provided a behind-the-scenes look at the filmmaking process.
This exposure also allowed Chris to venture into writing, producing, and directing his first feature film, "Carts," starring Mo Collins and Ted Lange. The film marked a significant milestone in Chris's career, showcasing his versatility and creativity.
Throughout his career, Chris has produced several award-winning feature films, including "A Life Lived" (starring Denise Richards and Jennifer Taylor),which was released on Amazon, and the Emmy-nominated documentary "San Diego's Gay Bar History," which aired on PBS. He has also produced "Xolos: Tijuana's Team" for Fox Sports Network: FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes, and "To Hell and Gone," which was distributed by Gravitas Ventures on multiple streaming services.
In his personal life, Chris is married to Lisa Marie Ricci, whom he wed on September 7, 2002. Together, they have two daughters, Jordana Rose Cashman and Audrey Elizabeth Cashman, and reside in San Diego, California.
