Chris Bailey, a renowned filmmaker based in Los Angeles, hails from the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan. His impressive portfolio boasts two exceptional short films, "Chaining Day" and "Love Thyself", which have garnered widespread acclaim and recognition at prestigious events such as the LA Film Festival, HBO Short Film Competition, and Pan African Film Festival.
In addition to his outstanding filmmaking credentials, Chris is an alumnus of Film Independent's esteemed Project Involve program. Furthermore, he was selected as a finalist for the 2015 San Francisco Film Society/KRF filmmaking grant, a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.
Chris' feature film debut, "Curtis" (2019),is a poignant and thought-provoking exploration of the complexities of mental health, as told through the lens of a former basketball star struggling to come to terms with his inner demons.
