Chaz Chase

Chase, a vaudeville and burlesque sensation of the 1920s, garnered widespread recognition by indulging in an unconventional array of edibles, including cardboard, flowers, lit matches, cigars, and cigarettes. This peculiar talent also led to his cameo appearances in several motion pictures. As the offers for film roles began to dwindle, Chase transitioned a to 20-year stint on the carnival circuit, entertaining audiences with his unique abilities. Decades later, in the 1950s, he resurfaced, making guest appearances on variety shows, in nightclubs, and even gracing the stage of the iconic Late Show with David Letterman before his passing.
