Biography

Chavo Guerrero is a 20-year veteran of the professional wrestling industry, hailing from a rich wrestling heritage as a third generation wrestler. His journey began in 1994, after being trained by his legendary family members, including Chavo Guerrero Sr., Eddie Guerrero, Hector Guerrero, and Mando Guerrero.

He started his career in both Mexico and Japan, working for New Japan Pro Wrestling before signing with World Championship Wrestling in 1996. During his five-year stint with WCW, Guerrero feuded and teamed with his real-life uncle Eddie Guerrero, earning the titles of 2-Time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and former 1-Time WCW Tag-Team Champion.

In 2001, WCW was acquired by World Wrestling Entertainment, and Guerrero's contract was one of 25 purchased by the organization. He spent the next decade with WWE, becoming one of the company's top cruiser-weight talents and forming a popular tag-team with Eddie Guerrero, known as Los Guerreros.

Many consider Los Guerreros to be one of the best tag teams in the world. Chavo would go on to become a former 4-Time WWE Cruiserweight Champion and win the tag-team titles twice with Eddie. In 2008, he reached his highest level of singles success when he defeated C.M. Punk in January to win the company's ECW Championship.

Guerrero requested and was granted his release from WWE in June 2011. He then signed with TNA Impact Wrestling, where he stayed for a year before asking for his release again, this time to pursue other ventures.

Currently, Chavo is active in Hollywood, pursuing a career in acting and endorsing several companies. He has recently become the Celebrity Ambassador to a new company dealing with monetizing social media, which is set to launch in the coming months.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chavo Guerrero has established himself as a wrestling legend, with a rich legacy that continues to inspire and entertain fans around the world.
