Born and raised in the vibrant island of Puerto Rico, I have been fortunate enough to develop a proficiency in five languages, a skill that would later prove to be invaluable in my professional endeavors. As a linguist for the DEA, I utilized my language expertise to take down international drug cartels for an impressive five years, earning the prestigious St. Michael's medal in the process.
This passion for languages ultimately led me to pursue a career in writing, where I would go on to make a significant impact in the entertainment industry. I have had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, including groundbreaking reality shows, game shows, comedy-dramas, telenovelas, soaps, features, sitcoms, and theater productions, both in Spanish and English.
In my capacity as head writer and producer, I was responsible for Seasons 2 and 3 of the Emmy-nominated Hulu show, East Los High, for which I won a Sentinel Award. Additionally, I produced the International Emmy award-winning show, El Vato, on Netflix, and served as a consulting producer on Confetti Mexico, Facebook's highest-rated show in 2019, which boasted an impressive 10 million followers.
Currently, I am shopping Feliz Café, a comedy-drama project that is very close to my heart, as it is based on my own family's story. With Kevin Murphy attached to the project, I am confident that it will resonate with audiences everywhere. Furthermore, I am committed to mentoring the Latinx community, empowering them to tell their unique stories in English, Spanish, or Spanglish – our voices, our power.
