Charles L. Campbell, a renowned American sound engineer, was born on August 17, 1930, and departed this life on June 21, 2013. Notably, he earned three prestigious Academy Awards for his outstanding work in Best Sound Editing. Additionally, Campbell held the esteemed position of Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) from 1984 to 1987.
