Charles de Rochefort, a renowned French actor and director, was born on July 7, 1879, in the picturesque town of Port-Vendres, situated in the Pyrénées-Orientales region of France.

As a thespian, he left an indelible mark on the world of cinema, starring in a plethora of iconic films, including the 1930 release "Parada Paramount", the 1922 production "L'Arlésienne", and the 1925 film "Madame Sans-Gêne".

In his personal life, Charles de Rochefort was twice married, first to Mary Grant and then to Therese Forgerot.

Tragically, his life came to a close on February 2, 1952, in the City of Light, Paris, France.
