Charles Coan's journey in the world of acting began with his involvement in living history as a re-enactor, a path that has spanned over three decades and has allowed him to delve into various Revolutionary War groups.
One of his most notable roles was in the History Channel series "Saving History" in 2007, where he portrayed a rowdy gang member in a Boston Massacre scene, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
In addition to his work on the History Channel series, Coan also appeared in a film documentary about Deborah Samson, a female heroine who enlisted in the Revolutionary army in 1782. Not only did he act in the production, but he also supplied most of the props and costumes, demonstrating his dedication to the project.
As a British redcoat re-en-actor, Coan was chosen to play a British soldier in a scene for Hulu's "Castle Rock" in 2018, further solidifying his experience in the industry.
Feeling inspired to pursue more acting opportunities, Coan began working with local casting companies, which led to his selection to portray a fundraiser guest in a NBC-TV pilot called "Suspicion" in 2018, although it has yet to be released.
Despite his acting career being in its early stages, Coan expresses his desire to continue working in this field for a long time, indicating a strong passion and commitment to his craft.
