Charles Chiyangwa is a multifaceted artist, exceling as both an actor and screenwriter. Born in the picturesque town of Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, his journey in the world of acting commenced at the esteemed Reps Theatre in Harare, where he garnered numerous Theatre Awards. His remarkable talent did not go unnoticed, as Reuters created a documentary showcasing his work in Africa, which was broadcast in the United Kingdom and 14 African countries.
Seeking to further hone his craft, Chiyangwa relocated to the United States, enrolling in Theatre studies at Clarendon, Texas. Upon graduation, he settled in the entertainment capital of Hollywood. His impressive career continued to unfold, as he was selected as a finalist at the HBO comedy festival competition in 2003.
Chiyangwa made his feature film debut as a lead actor in Robbin in da Hood in 2009. He has also appeared in a multitude of television commercials. Furthermore, he has two completed screenplays to his credit. The first, titled Humanoid, revolves around a robot's struggle to collaborate with humans to protect a Los Angeles mall post 9/11. The second, Rave Town, is a story about three college ravers whose lives spiral out of control as they attempt to rewrite the history books of college fun.
