Chad's early life unfolded on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado, where he spent his formative years before embarking on a collegiate journey that would shape his future endeavors. In the year 2000, he enrolled in the film program at the University of Colorado at Boulder, laying the groundwork for his future career in the entertainment industry.
Fast-forward to 2003, Chad made the bold decision to relocate to the City of Angels, Los Angeles, California, where he began his professional journey as an assistant at the renowned 20th Century Fox Studio Lot. This marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career, replete with numerous credits in the realm of television and film.
As a department head and VFX supervisor, Chad has had the privilege of working on several critically acclaimed television shows, including Gaslit (2022),Mr. Robot (2015),and Homecoming (2018). His impressive portfolio also boasts credits as a vendor-side VFX supervisor for Null Layer, Inc. on the films The Killer (2023),Road House (2024),and Creed III (2023).
In addition to his extensive work in visual effects, Chad has also had the opportunity to hone his skills as a visual effects artist on the films Gone Girl (2014) and Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014). Moreover, he is a proud member of the Directors Guild of America, having recently directed the 2nd unit for Gaslit (2022),a testament to his multifaceted talents and dedication to his craft.
