Biography

Chad Conley is a multifaceted American Actor/Producer who has been actively involved in the arts since 2010. Born in the blue-collar city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he has been influenced by his surroundings' strong work ethic and has applied this mindset to a wide range of lead and supporting roles across various genres.

Raised as the only son of Michelle Cochran and the late Bob Conley, Chad discovered his passion for the arts at a young age. His early interests in sports such as skateboarding, football, and boxing laid the foundation for his later love of movies. Growing up with a strong competitive spirit, his hard-nosed outlook sometimes led to trouble and fistfights, which eventually evolved into a fondness for heroic characters on-screen.

Starting his career by working on short films, Chad built a reputation as a character actor. In 2012, he landed a small role as a murder suspect on the television series Unusual Suspects, which later led to some of his most notable performances to date.

In 2015, Chad starred in the low-budget indie film The Other Side as Chris Sullivan, earning him the Best Actor award at the Horror Hound Magazine film festival. The following year, he played a supporting role as Riggs, a hit man/bodyguard, in the independent feature film The Chop.

Concluding 2017 with another award-winning performance in the short film Truce, which is loosely based on the true story of American soldiers and the effects of PTSD after the Vietnam War. Truce was nominated and won several awards throughout the film festival circuit, including the Best Actor award at the Atlantic City Cinefest for Chad's performance as Moe Roberts, an army soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice during battle.

In 2018, Chad played a principal role in the short film Grandpa, where he was once again recognized as Best Actor by the Atlantic City Cinefest film festival for his performance as the emotionally torn grandson Chris/Michael.

Most recently, Chad has been cast as musician/vocalist Peter Yarrow, a civil rights activist and key figure in the folk rock era. Peter was part of the trio/band Peter, Paul and Mary, famous in the early 1950s and 1960s, and the feature film is titled 116 MacDougal.

Throughout his career, Chad has demonstrated his dedication as an actor with every performance, earning him the reputation of being hungry and focused. With a strong Christian belief, he hopes to inspire others to pursue their own God-given gifts with the purpose of having a positive impact on society.
