César Ducasse, a French director and editor, was born in Toulouse, France in 1979. After graduating from the ESRA film school in Paris in 2001, he began his career by creating a music video for Aphex Twin's song "Milkman". This was followed by a short film, "Cryo", which gained recognition in several international short film festivals in 2002.
In 2003, Ducasse relocated to Norway, where he produced and directed his first feature film, "Lies Inc.", a science fiction film inspired by American author Philip K. Dick. The film was released in theaters and on DVD in 2004 through Scanbox Entertainment.
Since then, Ducasse has continued to work in the film industry, creating another music video, "Petiatil CxHtdui", and contributing to various Norwegian TV shows, including "Nisseneover skog og hei", "Asbjørn Brekke Show", "Ylvis", and "Kompani Lauritzen".
Ducasse's next feature film, "Dark Souls" (Mørke sjeler),a Norwegian horror thriller, was released in theaters in January 2011 and later made available on DVD and Blu-ray through LIONSGATE. The film competed in the 29th Brussels International Fantastic Films Festival and the 44th edition of the Sitges Film Festival.
