Casey made a significant move to the Twin Cities, leaving behind his 15-year residence in Los Angeles. During his time in Los Angeles, he was actively involved in the entertainment industry, working on various projects such as USA Network's "Colony", Showtime's "Masters of Sex", Amazon's "Transparent", and YouTube Red's "Do You Want To See A Dead Body?". Additionally, he collaborated on stage with several theatre companies, including Chrysalis Stage, Knightsbridge Theatre, Zoo District, and Celtic Arts Center Theater.
As a voice actor, Casey lent his voice to characters in video games and commercials for Gradifi, The Digital Entertainment Group, Red Bull, and Colonial Williamsburg. He also appeared on camera in commercials for Nissan, Chevrolet, and Best Buy.
Upon relocating to the Twin Cities, Casey continued to work in theatre, collaborating with renowned companies such as the Guthrie Theater, Old Log Theatre, Yellow Tree Theatre, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Frank Theatre, and Park Square Theatre. Regionally, he worked with Door Shakespeare in Door County, Wisconsin; Cold Comfort productions in Castine, Maine; Fort Worth Shakespeare in the Park; and Shakespeare Festival of Dallas.
Casey's impressive repertoire includes notable roles such as Morell in Candida, Septimus in Arcadia, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, and Malvolio in Twelfth Night.
Casey received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Acting from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
To hone his craft, Casey studied with renowned instructors, including Michael Bofshever, Robert D'Avanzo, and Marc Cashman. He also trained in commercial VO with Huck Liggett and Kelly Moscinski at The Voicecaster, animation with Cynthia Songé, and promo VO with Gene Cordes.
