Carson Grant is an American actor and artist from the United States. Born Carson Ferri, he was raised in a middle-class family in Rhode Island. He began his artistic journey at a young age, performing in children's theater shows and creating art in various mediums.

Grant attended Saturday classes in figure drawing and painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he received the Rhode Island Scholastic Gold Key Art Award. He also began his singing career, forming a band called "The Younger Breed" and performing at college dances and events throughout New England.

After graduating from Saint Raphael Academy, Grant moved to New York City in 1970 to study acting with Lee Strasberg and voice with Wally Harper. He joined the acting unions Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio, and Actors Equity Association, and was represented by Myrna Jacobi at William Morris Agency.

In the 1970s and 1980s, he was part of the East Village, Manhattan Art Movement, participating in group-art shows and creating large oil canvases and art installations.

He performed postgraduate work at Columbia University and presented his research at Georgetown's Drama Therapy Association Convention.

In the 1990s, Grant continued his visual arts career, working in computer graphics and video editing. He also rekindled his acting career, playing the lead role in the film "Master Shot" in 1998.

In the 2000s, Grant continued to work in film and television, including roles in the musical film "Summer Dayz" and the feature film "HH". He also portrayed Howard Hughes in the film "HH" and won several awards for his performances.
