Carole Wood, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, was deeply rooted in the world of dance and performance, with her passion for the stage evident from a young age. Her desire to transition into film acting was sparked by the arrival of her two children, and she went on to land several award-winning lead roles in community theater and student films. This marked the beginning of her journey into the world of film, as she enrolled at the Miami film school in 2010.
Prior to her film pursuits, Carole had already completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Kennesaw State University in 1997. She believed that education is a lifelong process, and it is never too late to return to school. This sentiment was reflected in her decision to pursue further education in film.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Carole has also had a successful career as a cheerleader. She was a former NFL Pro Bowl cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons, and later went on to become the Cheerleading Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During her time in the NFL, she worked alongside music giants such as Shania Twain, MC Hammer, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Santana, and Shaggy. This experience gave her a taste of stardom and allowed her to develop her skills as a performer.
Carole's most recent project is the sitcom-style script, "Krissy Belle," which she wrote, starred in, and produced. The film premiered at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival in 2013 and is a modern comedy that appeals to the English/Spanish bilingual community.
In her personal life, Carole is married with two children.
