Doda's youthful years were characterized by her departure from school at the tender age of fourteen, when she secured a job as a cocktail waitress. She furthered her education by attending the San Francisco Art Institute, while simultaneously working as a waitress and lounge entertainer at the Condor Club in the city's North Beach section.
In 1964, Doda made her debut as a topless performer at the Condor Club, which catapulted her to instant fame. However, she was forced to adapt to changing laws and eventually stopped performing nude in 1972. Throughout the 1970s, Doda remained a prominent figure in the adult entertainment industry, serving as the spokesperson for San Jose's KICU-TV Channel 36.
In addition to her stripping career, Doda had a successful acting career, appearing in several adult films, including "Honky Tonk Nights" (1978),"Trashi" (1981),"The Seven Seductions" (1982),and "Never So Deep" (1981).
