Camila Hirane is a multifaceted actress who has made a significant impact in the film, theater, and television industries. In film, she has had the privilege of participating in several internationally acclaimed Chilean productions, including "YOUNG & WILD" (2012) directed by Marialy Rivas and "YOU'LL NEVER BE ALONE" (2016) directed by Alex Anwandter.
Currently, Camila has just completed filming "LA PRÁCTICA", the seventh feature film by renowned Argentine director Martín Rejtman. Her journey in the entertainment industry began with the guidance of prominent director Pablo Larraín in the television series "FUGITIVES" (2011),where she played one of the female leads in seasons 1 and 2.
Since then, Camila has worked on national soap operas and series for the major television networks in her country, including "ESA NO SOY YO" (2016) where she portrayed two twin sisters and starred for five years in the successful soap opera "VERDADES OCULTAS" (2017-2022),which holds the record for the longest-running teleseries in Chilean history. For her outstanding performances, she has received numerous national recognitions.
In addition to her work in film and television, Camila has also made a mark in theater. She has been part of various productions, including "¿QUIÉN LE PUEDE A VIRGINIA WOOLF?" (2018) by Edward Albee, "TODOS ERAN MÍ HIJOS" (2020) by Arthur Miller, and "OLEANNA" (2019) by David Mamet. Recently, she premiered Raymond Carver's "PRINCIPIANTES" (2022) at the Ictus Theater.
