Cameisha's passion for performing has been evident since a very early age, when she would put on one-woman talent shows and create elaborate dancing routines to 90's R&B with her siblings, igniting a curiosity for stage performance that would only continue to grow.
Throughout her high school years, Cameisha was heavily involved in a variety of theatrical performances, allowing her to further nurture her love for musical theatre. This passion ultimately led her to Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she immersed herself in the art and discipline of musical theatre, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the process.
During her time at the university, Cameisha was fortunate enough to be involved in over 25 productions, many of which were directed or choreographed by guest artists with multiple Broadway credits. This exposure only served to further fuel her passion for the craft.
With the unwavering support of her family and close friends, Cameisha made the bold decision to relocate to New York City in 2016, allowing her to focus on her performing career while also exploring opportunities in commercial modeling, television, and film.
In 2019, Cameisha was selected to participate in the ABC Discovers Talent Showcase in New York, a prestigious honor that has only added to her growing list of accomplishments. As she continues to navigate the city that never sleeps, Cameisha remains committed to pursuing her dreams and exploring all that New York has to offer.
