Born during the communist regime in Romania, a Latin country situated primarily in Eastern Europe, Cain experienced his first seven years of life in poverty and terror, induced by the country's dictator and his "Securitate", a government agency responsible for local espionage, akin to a Big Brother-type entity.
Growing up in these harsh conditions, Cain's love for acting began to flourish, as he would participate in every kindergarten and school play, and even organize small shows with his peers for their neighbors. This passion for acting and theater gradually transformed into a love for film, with Cain becoming a movie buff, watching translated videocassettes that emerged on the Romanian market.
Years later, having extensively studied English, Cain enrolled at the prestigious Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, where he took his first acting classes and directed his first play, Christopher Durang's "The Living Room". He then went on to act in Richard Brinsley Sheridan's "The School for Scandal" as Joseph Surface and Tom Stoppard's "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" as title character Rosencrantz.
After moving to Boston, Cain chose advertising as his major, a field closely related to the entertainment industry. During his summer break preceding his junior year, he returned to Bucharest and walked into the offices of a local record company, Sony Music Romania, demanding a meeting with the A&R director, who happened to be the head of the company. He was offered a contract on the spot and a year later released his debut album, "Break The Game Rules", featuring the title track "All She Wants Is The Money".
The hot music video, featuring a simulated sex orgy between male and female Romanian top-models, with Cain at the center, created a significant buzz, and the young artist began appearing in various local TV shows. Just one year later, Cain put music on pause due to contractual issues and attended the casting for "Return of the Living Dead" movies, initially reading for the part of Zeke but deciding to try out for the more laid-back role of Jeremy instead.
Since completing "Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave to the Grave", Cain has been the co-host of a TV show called "I'd Do Anything" and has filmed a significant supporting role in the upcoming thriller "Catacombs", starring Pink.
