Personal Details

Biography

Byron's life journey began in Carlsbad, California, where he took his first breaths. However, his early years were marked by a significant move to his mother's ancestral homeland in southern Alberta, where he spent his formative years absorbing the rich cultural heritage of the region. Fast-forward to the present, and Byron's life is now a dynamic balance of traveling between two vastly different yet equally captivating cities - Vancouver, British Columbia, and Los Angeles, California - all while sharing quality time with his loving family.

One of Byron's most remarkable achievements is the founding of Coyote Arts Percussive Performance Association, affectionately known as CAPPA. This innovative dance/theatre company is dedicated to revolutionizing the way traditional Blackfoot stories, dances, and songs are presented by seamlessly integrating them into contemporary forms.
