Biography

Bryan Hickey is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as an actor, director, writer, producer, and editor. His journey in the world of film began at the tender age of eighteen, during his senior year of high school, when he started acting.

At twenty, Bryan took the leap and created his first short film, "Mormon Massacre", a five-minute silent comedy that, although well-received, garnered a minor backlash from the Mormon community due to its misrepresentation of their religious practices. Undeterred, he continued to create short comedies, including "A Meeting With A Gun" and "Doin' the Brando", the latter being a light-hearted, twisted comedy where he played a delusional version of himself, claiming to have had an affair with the legendary Marlon Brando.

Throughout his college career, Bryan primarily focused on comedic works, but he soon felt the need to tackle a more serious project. In the spring of 2011, he began working on his first short drama, "The Good Son", a poignant story about a young boxer struggling with internal conflicts and family dynamics. The film received widespread acclaim from his instructors and classmates, and has since been submitted to multiple film festivals.

Bryan graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree on May 14, 2011, and has made it his mission to continue working in the film industry, both behind and in front of the camera, for many years to come.
