Brie Carter, a multifaceted individual of African American, Japanese, and Caucasian heritage, was born in Dallas, Texas, where her acting career commenced at the tender age of four with appearances in television, commercial, and print work.
As the youngest member of The Dallas Young Actor's Studio, Carter's passion for acting was first nurtured, and her enthusiasm continued to flourish, ultimately leading her to enroll at the University of Southern California.
During her time in Los Angeles, Carter earned a degree in cinema-television from USC, and it became apparent that acting was, in fact, her calling.
Since then, Carter has had the privilege of appearing in a variety of independent films, including "Dog Park" and "Me.NA", as well as television shows such as Showtime's "Shameless", Hulu's "Marvel's Runaways" and "Little Fires Everywhere", FX's "American Horror Story: 1984", and most recently, on the long-standing Daytime Emmy Award-Winning soap opera, "General Hospital".
