His most recent endeavor, the action/thriller "Pursuit", starring John Cusack, is set to be released nationwide on February 18, 2022. This highly anticipated film marks Skiba's continued foray into the action genre, following the success of his previous release, "The 2nd", which premiered in September 2020 and starred Ryan Phillippe, Casper van Dien, and Jack Griffo.

Skiba's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. This success led to him being asked to direct the indie film "Dirty Little Trick", which premiered domestically on Showtime.
In 2022, Skiba agreed to direct two feature films, the gritty and hard-hitting horror/action film "The Challenge" for Voltage Entertainment and the biopic for Lionsgate based on the Golden State Killer.
