Brian Majestic, a renowned American character actor, made his television debut on the popular crime drama series Criminal Minds. He has since appeared in numerous acclaimed television shows and award-winning independent films. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brian's passion for acting was evident from a young age.
At the tender age of fourteen, he landed a professional role in a production of West Side Story at the esteemed Byham Theatre in Pittsburgh. This marked the beginning of his extensive experience in musicals, with performances at Pittsburgh's Civic Light Opera and various plays throughout the city.
Brian's formal training in acting was undertaken at the prestigious institutions of Carnegie Mellon, DePaul University, and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. During his time in New York City, he studied under the guidance of renowned acting coach Terry Schreiber.
However, Brian's life took a dramatic turn following the September 11th terrorist attacks. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Field Radio Operator for seven years, with two combat deployments to Iraq. This remarkable period of his life has been documented in a unique storytelling project, where he was invited to develop and write a story about his experiences alongside a select group of veterans.
The culmination of this project was a sold-out evening of storytelling at The Geffen Playhouse. Brian currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter, where he continues to pursue his passion for acting and storytelling.
