Brett attended school in Sutton, Surrey, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He then went on to read Film Studies at Warwick University, further honing his skills and broadening his horizons.
At the age of 22, Brett made the bold decision to travel to New York to study acting at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Art. This experience not only helped him refine his craft but also sparked a passion for writing his own plays.
Brett's early work included taking his plays to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he gained valuable exposure and feedback. However, he eventually realized that comedy was a more uplifting and fulfilling path, and so he began to focus on stand-up.
In 2006, Brett embarked on his stand-up career with a show entitled 'Brett Goldstein Grew Up in a Strip Club', which marked the beginning of his journey as a comedian. He continued to make a name for himself, appearing in a variety of television sitcoms, including 'Derek', 'Uncle', 'Drifters', and the Emmy award-winning "Hoff The Record".
In 2015, Brett took on the role of a lifetime, writing and starring in the title role of 'SuperBob', a superhero romantic comedy set in Peckham, directed by his old classmate from Sutton, Jon Drever. This project showcased his versatility as a writer, actor, and comedian.
Throughout his career, Brett has received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the title of award-winning actor, writer, and stand-up. He has since created three more hours of stand-up, which premiered in Edinburgh and toured the UK and overseas: 'Brett Goldstein Contains Scenes Of An Adult Nature', 'Brett Goldstein: Burning Man', and 'Brett Goldstein: What Is Love Baby Don't Hurt Me'.
