Brendan Parry Kaufmann is an Australian actor, writer, and producer who has been performing since he can remember. He has studied his craft under some of the best teachers in the industry.
With a diverse range of credits, Kaufmann has appeared on Australian television in long-running dramas such as "Stingers", "Neighbours", "Bed of Roses", "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries", the drama mini-series "Dirt Game" and "Underbelly", and the Australian TV comedy series "The Librarians".
More recently, he has appeared in Netflix series "Girlboss", Hulu docu-drama "Becoming Bond", and Discovery Channel crime series "Betrayed", and is set to appear in the forthcoming feature film "Velvet Buzzsaw".
Kaufmann has also made numerous appearances in TV commercials in his home country, as well as short, experimental, and independent films. On stage, he has won acclaim for his role as "Colonel Julyan" in Strathmore Theatre's production of Daphne Du Maurier's "Rebecca", and has performed leading roles in a wide range of productions, from Shakespeare to Stoppard.
As a writer, Kaufmann has written for theatre, short film, and television in Australia, and is currently collaborating as a co-writer and producer on the development of the television drama "Mercer Island", which is being pitched to major networks.
Additionally, his next feature screenplays, "Rapunzel", "Melora", and "Mercury", are in advanced stages of development. His first full-length feature screenplay, "Providence", was developed from his short film "Grandad", which received acclaim at several international film festivals.
