Brannon Cross, a talented American actor, was born in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. His journey in the world of acting began when he was asked to participate in a school play during his fifth-grade year. The school's production of a Presidential Debate, which coincided with an election year, marked the start of Brannon's passion for acting. He was assigned the role of Ross Perot, a character that sparked his enthusiasm for the craft. Despite some playful teasing about not needing prosthetic ears, Brannon made the most of his experience and was soon asked to offer acting advice to his fellow performers, including the sixth-grade class.
As he progressed through high school, Brannon attended an International Baccalaureate program, where he concentrated on Theatre as one of his higher-level courses. His love for the stage grew, and he performed in every school play. Feeling uninspired by his college courses, Brannon sought to reignite his passion for acting while attending the University of Central Florida. With the suggestion of his sister, he began taking classes in Tampa, where he studied at the Performer Studio Workshop under the guidance of Eric Morris.
Despite the four-hour round trip drive, Brannon continued to make the journey twice a week until he graduated and eventually moved to Tampa to be closer to the studio. To further diversify his training, he studied Meisner in St. Petersburg and even traveled overseas to the renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
After years of honing his craft, Brannon has returned to his roots and now resides in the picturesque hill country of Texas with his wife and three boys, just outside of his birthplace, Austin. He comes from a family with a rich heritage of impressive mustaches, remarkable receding hairlines, and a deep passion for the arts and depth psychology.
