Braden King is a multifaceted creative professional based in New York, with expertise in filmmaking, photography, and visual art. His first feature film, HERE, premiered at the 2011 Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals and was subsequently distributed theatrically by Strand Releasing in 2012. This film, starring Ben Foster and Lubna Azabal, marks a significant milestone in King's career as a filmmaker.
In addition to his work in feature filmmaking, King has also explored the realm of live installations. His project, HERE [ THE STORY SLEEPS ], premiered at The Museum of Modern Art in 2010 and toured internationally, showcasing his versatility as a visual artist. This installation, like his other works, demonstrates King's ability to push boundaries and experiment with new forms of storytelling.
King's body of work also includes the lyric feature documentary DUTCH HARBOR: WHERE THE SEA BREAKS IT'S BACK, which he co-directed with photographer Laura Moya.
