Biography

Brad Wietersen was born on February 3, 1961, in London, Ontario, Canada. His early life was marked by a passion for the arts, as he began attending London's School of Fine Arts at the tender age of 5. This was just the beginning of his illustrious career, as in March 1966, Brad landed a role as a cast member on the popular children's television show "Sunshine School" on CFPL-TV in London.

As a teenager, Brad's talent and dedication earned him a spot as a film extra in the hit movies Police Academy and Strange Invaders. His family moved to Toronto, Ontario, in 1967, providing Brad with new opportunities to pursue his passions.

After completing his education, Brad received an Honours Diploma in Radio Broadcasting from Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology in Rexdale, Ontario, in 1986. He then interned at Toronto's CHUM-FM Radio and served as a guest announcer on Q107-FM on three separate occasions.

Brad's career in the Canadian radio and music industries began in earnest after college, when he worked as a copywriter for CHWO Radio in Oakville, Ontario. His writing skills and industry connections led to a staff writing position at RPM Weekly, a national music trade magazine, by 1988. During his time at RPM Weekly, Brad had the opportunity to interview some of the world's most renowned rock musicians, including Def Leppard, Queensryche, and Lisa Del Bello.

After a successful stint in radio and music, Brad returned to television and film in 1997, becoming an ACTRA union member in the year 2000. He has since appeared in a wide range of productions, including Luck, Undercover Brother, Control Factor, and Jackie, Ethel, Joan: Women of Camelot. Brad continues to work steadily in movie and TV productions in Toronto, Canada, solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile actor.
