Brad Renfro, a talented young actor, was born on July 25, 1982, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Angela Denise McCrory and Mark Renfro, a factory worker. At the tender age of 10, he was discovered by renowned director Joel Schumacher, who cast him in the motion picture The Client (1994) alongside Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones. This marked the beginning of a promising career, with Renfro going on to appear in a string of notable films, including The Cure (1995),Tom and Huck (1995),Sleepers (1996),and Apt Pupil (1998).
