Brad, a native of Glasgow, Montana, embarked on his academic journey at Montana State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in film/video. This foundation in filmmaking would later serve as a springboard for his career in the industry. Prior to his foray into feature films, Brad honed his skills as a film critic, penning reviews for his hometown newspaper, "The Missoulian", as well as contributing to "Keci-TV". Moreover, he hosted the public access show, "The Big Picture", a program that showcased his passion for low-budget cinema.
