Brad David, a charming and youthful actor with a striking appearance, was characterized by his curly, reddish locks. During the late 1960s and 1970s, he brought to life a range of complex and intriguing characters on television, often portraying hippies, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and those with unconventional mentalities.
Some of his most notable performances can be seen in the episodes "Love is A Nickel Bag" from the TV series Dan August and the two-hour pilot episode of The Streets of San Francisco, both of which showcased his ability to convincingly portray individuals grappling with drug addiction. He also appeared in guest roles on other popular shows, including Ironside, where he played a character in the episode "Lesson in Terror", and Marcus Welby, in the episode "Elegy for A Mad Dog".
As his career progressed, Brad David landed a recurring role on the TV series Firehouse in 1974, playing the part of Billy Dalzell, a young firefighter. Unfortunately, the series was cancelled midway through its first season.
As the hippie era came to a close, Brad David's career began to slow down, as the demand for actors to portray flower children diminished. During this time, he was involved with and possibly married actress Kathleen Lloyd, with whom he appeared as a young couple on two episodes of the TV series Room 222, including the episode "I Love You Charlie, I Love You Abbie".
