Bobby Boermans is a renowned Dutch director and producer, celebrated for his work on various films and television series. His most recent and critically acclaimed project is the high-end crime TV series The Golden Hour, which premiered in 2022 and tells the story of the first 48 hours after a terrorist attack. This series achieved immense success, ranking in the top 10 on Netflix in 20 countries and reaching number one in Germany, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Boermans is also known for directing the cultural phenomenon TV series Mocro Maffia, a crime drama that explores the world of rivaling gangs in Amsterdam. The show's six seasons earned numerous accolades, including the Dutch Academy Award for Best Drama-series and spawned several spin-offs.
In addition to his television work, Boermans has directed several films, including the intense F16 fighter series High Flyers, which was a collaborative effort with the Royal Dutch Air Force.
