Biography

Bo Zenga graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he attended the prestigious Wharton School of Business. After starting his career as a Wall Street banker for what is now JP Morgan Chase, he relocated to Los Angeles and pursued his passion for filmmaking at the American Film Institute.

Throughout his illustrious career, Bo has worked with some of the most talented individuals in the industry, including Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage, Ron Howard, and many others. His impressive track record speaks for itself, with every movie he has made with a budget of $10 million or more receiving theatrical distribution from a major studio.

One of his most notable projects is the teen horror spoof Scary Movie, which he developed and executive produced for Dimension/Miramax. The film earned $42.3 million in its opening weekend and has since grossed over $300 million, spawning a franchise that has grossed over $1 billion. For his work on Scary Movie, Bo was presented with an AC Nielsen Golden Reel award for the film's "extraordinary box office achievement."

Bo has also produced several other successful films, including the thriller Turistas, starring Josh Duhamel and Olivia Wilde, and the comedy Soul Plane, which stars Kevin Hart and Sofia Vergara. Additionally, he has written and executive produced the film Everything's Jake, a winner at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, the New York Film Festival, and the film If Tomorrow Comes, starring Golden Globe winner James Franco.

In the television world, Bo has written an episode of the Peabody Award-winning show The Wonder Years and adapted the book The Diana I Knew for a movie on The Hallmark Channel. He has also written lyrics for songs for the movies Soul Plane, Stan Helsing, and the award-winning TV show Mad Men.

Known for his exceptional pitching skills, Bo has been featured in various publications, including Newsweek, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, and Entertainment Weekly. He has also been listed as one of the "100 People You Need to Know in Hollywood" by Fade In Magazine and has appeared on the cover of Written By, the official magazine of the WGA, "pitching" from the mound at Dodger Stadium.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bo has been recognized for his community service, including being named the American Diabetes Association's "Father of the Year," an honor that has been bestowed upon notable individuals such as President John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Stewart, and Tom Hanks.

Bo currently resides in Los Angeles with his daughters Kit and Liv and their dog CeCe.
