Bill's early career was marked by his extensive involvement in theatre, with a notable stint of over 30 plays in the Chicago area. As a co-founder of the Pendulum Theatre Company in the 90s, he showcased his versatility by directing and producing numerous plays. His direction of Nagle Jackson's "The Quick-Change Room" was particularly noteworthy, earning recognition as one of the top 5 Chicago theatre moments of 1998 by the Chicago Tribune.
Subsequently, Bill shifted his focus to filmmaking, exceling in multiple aspects of the craft. His short film "Bob and Edgar" stands out as a highlight, with Bill serving as the writer, director, and actor. This endeavour yielded impressive accolades, including Best Actor from the Twister Alley Film Festival, Best Comedy Short from the Manhattan Film Festival, and Audience Choice Award from the Canton Film Festival.
Bill has also made significant strides in screenwriting, penning four unproduced feature screenplays. His most recent endeavour, "Bob's Best Friends", has garnered widespread recognition, earning him the Grand Prize Winner title from the First Frame International Film Festival (2023),Best Drama Screenplay from the Southern California Film Festival (2023),and Screenplay of the Year from the Southern California Film Festival (2023).
