Bhalchandra Kadam, a renowned comedian artist in the Marathi entertainment industry, has made a significant impact through his appearances in TV shows, plays, and films. Known affectionately as "Bhau" Kadam, he has been a part of over 500 dramas and has contributed to numerous successful TV shows.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Bhau spent his childhood in Wadala, a suburb of the city, before moving to Dombivli, another Mumbai suburb, later in his life.
Bhau's career in the entertainment industry began in 1991, when he started appearing in Marathi plays. He soon transitioned to television, where he gained recognition for his exceptional comic timing in the show Fu Bai Fu. His energetic screen presence and versatility led him to feature in several successful TV shows, including the popular Zee Marathi Network show Chala Hawaa Yeu Dyaa, which is known for its comedic sketches.
Throughout his career, Bhau has effortlessly essayed various characters on the show, earning critical acclaim for his comedy. Some of his notable movie credits include Dombivali Fast (2005),Ferrari Ki Sawaari (2012),Sanngto Aika (2014),and Half Ticket (2016). In 2017, he appeared in the movies Ranjan, Zhalla Bobhata, and Boyz.
Bhau has also shared the screen with notable actors, including Mrunmayee Deshpande and Siddharth Jadhav, in the Marathi comedy films Shikari and Cycle.
