His writing journey began in the advertising department of Pathe, where he honed his skills as a stenographer before transitioning to the script department, where he contributed to the iconic Pearl White serials. His talents soon caught the attention of the renowned director Cecil B. DeMille, who entrusted Millhauser with the role of writer and producer.
