Biography

Bert I. Gordon, affectionately referred to as "Mr. B.I.G." by the renowned Forrest J. Ackerman, has had a prolific career in the film industry, producing, directing, and writing an impressive array of over twenty-five Science Fiction and Horror features.

Some of his notable works include the 1962 fantasy film "The Magic Sword", the 1957 Science Fiction classic "The Amazing Colossal Man", the 1965 cult favorite "Village of the Giants", and the 1957 Horror film "The Cyclops".

In addition to his work in the Sci-Fi and Horror genres, Gordon has also ventured into comedy, directing and producing films such as the 1970 comedy "How to Succeed with Sex".

One of his most notable achievements is the 1976 film "The Food of the Gods", which was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix du Festival International Du Paris Fantastique in 1977.
