Benjamin Roger Wilhoite, professionally known as Benji Wilhoite, was born on November 19, 1969, in Cartersville, Georgia, to his loving parents, Roger and Bobbie Wilhoite. He was the youngest of six siblings, with four sisters and one brother, bringing a unique dynamic to his childhood.

As an actor, Benji Wilhoite left an indelible mark on the industry, starring in notable films such as Glory (1989),Impure Thoughts (1985),and Fast Food (1989). However, his most iconic role remains that of "Anthony," the teenager who donned the infamous Freddy Krueger costume from the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, leaving a lasting impression on fans of the Sleepaway Camp horror films.

In his personal life, Benji Wilhoite was married to the love of his life, Dolores Tracy, and together they had four beautiful children: two daughters, Savannah and Kennedy, and two sons, Dylan and Julien. Tragically, his life was cut short when he passed away on March 14, 2011, at the tender age of 41, in Baldwinsville, New York.
