Benjamin A. Rider, a multi-talented individual, embarked on a fascinating journey of geographical exploration from a tender age of three. He initially relocated to South Africa for a year, followed by a prolonged stay in Israel, where he spent most of his childhood. This unique blend of cultures and experiences undoubtedly had a profound impact on his creative development.
As he grew older, Rider's passion for filmmaking began to take shape. In 2012, while pursuing his studies at Queen Mary University of London, he produced his debut professional short film, "Aquarius' Mule," which premiered in 2013. This early success sparked a creative fire within him, and he went on to film his first micro-budget feature film, "To Love Somebody," during the summer of 2012.
This ambitious project was edited simultaneously with his completion of a BA Hons in Film Studies, demonstrating Rider's exceptional organizational skills and dedication to his craft. Since then, he has directed a total of seven micro-budget feature films, each showcasing his unique vision and artistic flair.
Some of his notable works include the drama "Forever Tomorrow" (2016),the digital CinemaScope art house film "Our Little Haven" (2017),and the B-Movie-inspired "Suburban Coffin" (2018). Each of these projects has allowed Rider to push the boundaries of his creativity, experimenting with different styles and techniques to produce a distinctive body of work.
